Hydraulic Cylinder Piston Manufacturing

Hydraulic pistons are used in lifting, compressing, closing, and pressing operations that require high power. Piston manufacturing services are available in all sizes and dimensions.

Hydraulic Cylinder Piston Manufacturing

Hydraulic pistons consist of a hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic rod, piston, piston seal, gland bearing, wiper seal, O-ring, gland, and cylinder base. As the diameter of the hydraulic cylinder increases, the force it applies will increase proportionally.

Especially thanks to cylindrical grinding applied to the hydraulic rod and subsequent hard chrome plating, hydraulic pistons can be used with a longer service life. Hydraulic piston systems must be designed correctly in order to operate in a healthy manner.

Hydraulic piston application areas

Hydraulic pistons used in modern production areas are the first choice of many businesses. The most commonly used machines include press machines, textile machines, and construction machinery.

Hydraulic piston manufacturing

The hydraulic cylinder, which forms the outermost part of hydraulic mechanisms, is manufactured from steel material called ST52. The wall thickness of the steel is calculated and applied according to the pressure the piston inside the system will apply.

Generally, pure steel materials such as Ck45, 4140, and hardened 4140 are used for rods. With hard chrome plating, the steel is made harder, its resistance is increased, and friction is largely eliminated.

The piston moving inside the hydraulic cylinder is manufactured by honing its interior. The dimensions of the hydraulic piston to be manufactured should be adjusted according to the stroke and pressure requirements of the application.
